Began reaching out to schools to participate in the MIT Women’s Initiative Program

Smart Gear and Rise Bar form partnership to help increase performance in elementary schools
2018 January
MIT Women’s Initiative Programs takes place in south Orange County schools

United States Department of Treasury determines MASTERthese qualifies as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
2019 January
Smart in a Box Program planned to launch in elementary schools
2019 November
Created Aliso Viejo Ranch Project conduit to food banks
2020 January
Planned research program budget for students in local schools in collaboration with the Aliso Viejo Ranch Project

Repurposed MASTERthese during COVID-19 pandemic to raising funds to purchase and donate masks to hospitals
2020 February
Incubated Let’s Go to Mars event for specially selected underrepresented high school students from Orange County
2020 March
Created a Collaborative of Business Partners to expand our mask efforts, so we can focus on COVID-19 education
2020 April
Publicized Let’s Go to Mars event in order to begin raising funds, and raised over half of required funds in one week

In a joint effort, MASTERthese and the Collaborative of Business Partners create Lucky Masks Project
